What items are accepted for donation?
NOTE: Final determination of acceptance are made by the pick-up driver or at the donation door. Alternative choices should the Springfield/Eugene Habitat ReStore is unable to take your donations. Click here.

Paints & Stains
New and partially used, at least half full in its original container
NOT ACCEPTED: Used spray cans or paint not in its original container (See our guidelines of the Paint Recycling Program)
Cabinets & Countertops
New and used kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, marble tops, cabinet drawers and doors
NOT ACCEPTED: Broken or damaged cabinets and counters, no L-shaped or sink cut outs, any cabinet with mold.
Hollow core, solid core, raised panel, steel, wood, fiberglass, pre-hung, slab and accessories
NOT ACCEPTED: Broken or damaged items
New carpet and pad, ceramic tile, laminate flooring, vinyl tile and hardwood that is free of nails
NOT ACCEPTED: Used carpet/tile, broken or damaged flooring.
Furniture & Decor
Wood, metal, upholstered and pressed wood.
NOT ACCEPTED: Desks, broken, stained, or water damaged items, pet damage/smell, mattress or box spring
Lumber & Sheet Goods
Most types of lumber in good condition without nails or damage.
Lumber with nails embedded, rotten, broken or water damaged
Electrical & Lighting
Usable wire, boxes, plates, conduit, switches, outlets and related items, ceiling fans, light fixtures
Used fluorescent bulbs or CFLs
HVAC & related items
Sheet metal ducts, insulation, registers, dryer venting range hoods, bath fans and filters
Broken, damaged, or missing parts
Plumbing & Bath
Sinks, low flow toilets only, bath tubs, whirlpool baths, related parts and items
Stained, chipped, broken or missing parts
Roofing, siding and related items
Tools & Hardware
Clean, working condition, guards in place, hand and power tools.
Damaged rusty tools, power tools missing safety parts
Double Pane Windows
Double paned vinyl, sliders, tilts and stained glass
Leaky gaskets or glass seal, rotten sills, broken glass, individual sashes, storm windows, aluminum framed.
Sliding Glass Doors
Double paned, vinyl, in frame
Aluminum, wood, out of frame, leaky gaskets, broken seals or glass shower doors
Adhesives & Chemicals
Common adhesives, wood glue, Elmer’s and superglues in unopened containers, grout, caulk, Tung oil, WD40, graphite, 3 in 1 oil, Liquid Wrench, mineral oil
Engine products like motor oil, antifreeze, and wiper fluid, acetone, paint thinner, paint stripper, flooring glues, 2 part epoxies and glues, aerosol spray adhesives
Bleach products like cleanser, ammonia products, such as floor cleaner, soaps, detergents, cleaners, air fresheners, furniture polish.
Pool care products, pesticides, rat poison, roach spray, herbicides such as Round-Up, industrial grade cleaners.
