Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore offers new and used building materials, furniture and home improvement items to the public at a fraction of their retail prices. All items in the ReStore are donated by local businesses and individuals, providing an environmentally safe and socially responsible way to keep materials out of the waste stream. It also provides financial support to Habitat’s mission to eliminate poverty housing in our community.
The ReStore depends on volunteers to keep the inventory current and provide customers with a quality experience. To become a volunteer you must attend an orientation. Please contact our Volunteer & Program Coordinator, Chelsee Barrett at 541.741.1707, if you would like to be part of the team.
We’re looking for truck assistants with the ability to lift 50 lbs, and, preferably, experience moving furniture.
Love to organize? Tasks include creating and maintaining attractive merchandise displays and assisting customers
Do you have retail experience and excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn? Help out in the store.
You’ll greet customers, unload donated merchandise and maintain the warehouse. Occasional heavy lifting (50+ lbs) is required.
Put your friendly smile to work. Good customer service skills and experience as a retail cashier are beneficial. Light to moderate lifting may be necessary.
Volunteering at the ReStore is fun and a great way to meet new people, hone new skills and keep you active. To begin the process of volunteering, you must sign up to attend a volunteer orientation, sorry no walk ins. Please take a look at the volunteer calendar to find the next orientation date.
